Qbittorrent not downloading torrents

Here is my Log and ini file, I deleted the torrents from the log, I didn't think they were needed. Want to back this issue? Post a bounty on it! We accept bounties via Bountysource. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:. Wow what a detailed post. Post log? Delete torrent names and IP. Have you tried setting a static local IP and forward ports manually in your router? Doubt that's the problem as you have a green icon in status bar..

Have you tried another bittorrent client with the same settings? I'm running out of ideas.. Sorry, something went wrong. Thank you for your reply, I try to be as detailed as possible when it comes to providing information about a problem.

I actually have done the port forwarding before as well as the static IP, I use Plex and I use it with a "Remote Server" as well on a different port that's Plex dedicated. I don't know what they do either so I didn't know what to do with the option now that I know it exists. This is my log and INI file. I just want to update my torrent seeds, It keeps going up but Qbittorrent does not download or upload. On a test, I restarted my computer and when Qbittorrent started my downloads started but then stopped again.

Sorry didn't see the log on first post, i don't see something strange in it. Other than that try disabling temporarily kaspersky and malware bytes to see if they're at fault. I'm afraid i don't know what else to try. Good luck! The problem can be fixed by deleting qBittorrent. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling I assume that automatically cleared the folder housing those 2 INI files. But just to make sure I have just deleted them and have restarted Qbittorrent, I will follow up on the results.

I checked the dead torrents, I checked the trackers just now and it says on the status tab that some trackers are "working" but some are "not working".

For the "Do not count slow torrents in these limits" I have just enabled that option just now. So I'll follow up with the results. The weird thing is that yesterday my torrents suddenly started downloading again and I'm not sure why. I have redone my settings in Qbittorrent due to a recommendation that was posted on my thread in the Qbittorrent Fourms.

These are the new settings that were posted, And as such I have changed my previous settings to these settings. Going forward, I recommend a vast reduction on your qBittorrent settings. EDIT: on Mojave you can use uTorrent not the web, but the normal version had never problems with that.

Sorry, something went wrong. Skip to content. Star New issue. Jump to bottom. Also, users upload files from their devices for other people to download. Torrenting is the leading form of peer-to-peer file-sharing online. If you want to download or upload files through this sort of system, you need to download a torrent client. These downloads are referred to as torrents and contain metadata about the files and folders, as well as information about the network location of trackers.

A torrent client is software that lets you download files and folders from other people who are sharing those files from their devices. People who are sharing the files are called seeders. The more seeders that are available, the faster the download will finish. Torrenting itself is not illegal. However, downloading copyrighted files can be illegal. What this means is that the act of peer-to-peer file sharing through torrenting is perfectly legal but where you can get in potential trouble is when the file you download is unsanctioned copyright material.

Copyright is a type of intellectual property that gives the owner of the material the sole right to make copies of the work for a set period of time. Figuring out what content is illegal to download because of copyright laws can be difficult. Below are our picks for the top 10 free torrent clients. A potential limitation of qBittorrent is that the advanced features take some getting used to in order to have them set up properly. This torrent client has a number of useful features included in its free plans such as speed cap scheduling, bandwidth limiting, and remote client management. Vuze also tries to sneak an antivirus program into the installation process, similar to what some other torrent clients do with the bloatware they bundle into their installations.

The plugins are useful for setting up things like notifications, extractors, IP blocklists, and more. The downside to this plugin system is when you run into compatibility issues based on version numbers and Deluge updates. Tixati is one of the most feature-heavy torrent clients on this list. This client will also tell you your bandwidth usage and provides you with an event logger so you can keep track of what the client and torrents are doing.
