Based on a Stanislaw Lem story, features an international cast. The effects are excellent considering the era and they should be because the film was not made on a small budget.

The major shortcomings of the movie are the clumsy translation and dubbing. Its fantastic. It's impressive the "technology" shown in this movie isn't laughable as is in most other sci-fi movies from that area. But, apart from that, I found the movie to be boring.
