Make sure you place pause between each installation. You'll still have to click through the installation prompt to select the installation folder and whatnot, and click back to the command line running the script after finishing each prompt to get the next prompt. The pause is required for you to have time to go through each of the installation prompts, which ask you for installation directory and shortcut preferences. On Linux you can do the same, but use the Linux equivalent of start xdg-open for most distributions it seems and pause seems to be read -p 'Press enter to continue'.

See I formatted my drives to clear up the massing clutter of files that were utterly confusing me. So naturally my library of downloaded games went along with that. Now, I know about the shift-click and ctrl-click methods to select multiple games to download. I've gotten the terms and conditions from multiple games as if they were going to be downloaded individually, but only ONE GAME shows up in the queue.
It seems like steam absolutely refuses to put no more than one game in the queue while another is downloading. I don't feel like constantly looking at that download bar just to time the next download. I have A LOT of games to re install.
Reddit user Shawn Maiberger has created a script that verifies all installed Steam games in one go automatically in the background. It is using the AutoIt scripting language and can either be downloaded as a script or an executable file.
While the executable file may be more convenient to use, it is suggested to use the script instead as you can go through it to verify that it is legit before you run it.
If you select the script option, you need to download AutoIt first. Once installed, right-click on the script and select the option to run it from the context menu. The program attempts to find the right games directory automatically using the Windows Registry. Once that is out of the way, it will load Steam and start validating all installed games on the PC. This works well for most games.
Some games on the other hand will load an installer instead when you run verification. You can add those to a blacklist so that their verification is skipped.
